Nintendo Wins $4.5m Piracy Judgment

A US judge ordered James Williams, the former r/SwitchPirates moderator known as Archbox, to pay Nintendo $4.5m after he failed to respond to a piracy lawsuit. Nintendo sought $150,000 per pirated game, including Tears of the Kingdom and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Williams is permanently barred from distributing or encouraging piracy of any Nintendo games.
