Study: Most Prefer AI Writing, Trained on Humans

A Cambridge University Press and Villanova University study of 1,682 participants found ChatGPT-generated stories rated highest, especially when mislabeled as human-written. Over 60% in experiment two and over 48% in experiment three failed to identify AI content. AI writing is more direct and simple, trained on human-preferred styles.
