PwC partner Leonard McAuliffe states quantum computing has moved out of the research lab and into the boardroom. While only 6pc of Irish respondents implement quantum-resistant measures versus 21pc globally, sectors like finance and healthcare face compliance breaches if they fail to prepare for quantum computers breaking public-key cryptography by 2027.
