Zurich climate tech company Cotierra has raised $3 million to scale its decentralised biochar technology from field deployments to commercial product. PINC and Carbon Removal Partners led the round, bringing total funding to $4.75 million. Cotierra combines reactor hardware with a digital platform to turn agricultural residues into biochar, initially in coffee and now expanding to cocoa, cotton and citrus.
