Chinese brands captured 34 percent of Europe's plug-in hybrid sales in June, up from a smaller share. BYD, Chery, and Geely lead the charge. The European Commission is moving closer to imposing tariffs on Chinese PHEVs, similar to existing EV tariffs that range from 7.8 to 35.3 percent.
