American Express acquired TheFork from Tripadvisor for $700m in cash, adding 50,000 European restaurants to its dining network. The deal, structured as a put-option agreement, is expected to close before the end of 2026. Amex already owns Resy and Tock, pushing its total bookable venues past 75,000.
