Billionaire Dan Loeb bought 869,563 shares of Hut 8, valued at approximately $40.79 million, during the March quarter. Hut 8 is transitioning from Bitcoin mining into AI data center infrastructure, owning power and land assets leased to hyperscalers on long-term contracts. Beacon Point in Texas has a $9.8 billion contract with Google.
