Cloudflare introduced Cache Response Rules, a new rule type that runs after an origin server replies but before Cloudflare caches the content. The rules can rewrite Cache-Control directives, manage cache-tags, and strip headers like Set-Cookie, ETag, and Last-Modified from the origin response. No origin code changes are required.
