LaLiga Seeks EU Piracy Watch List for VPNs

LaLiga has asked the European Commission to add NordVPN, ExpressVPN, Surfshark and Proton VPN to its 2027 Counterfeit and Piracy Watch List. The league argues third-party affiliate guides promote circumventing court-ordered blocks on illegal football streams. The four providers have not yet responded. A Spanish court previously ordered NordVPN and Proton VPN to block streams, but NordVPN later won a case over fines.
