Meta released its first image-generation model, Muse Image, and updated Instagram's policy to allow AI creations from public profile photos by default. Users can opt out via a dedicated toggle under Sharing and Reuse settings. AI images already created from a user's posts will not be removed even if the toggle is turned off.
