Munich Tests Autonomous Electric Bus

Munich begins passenger trials for a 12-metre autonomous electric bus on November 17. The MAN Lion's City 12 E, equipped with five LiDAR sensors, six radars, and eight cameras, runs on route 178. Over 2,000 people pre-registered for the ride, which continues until June 2027 with a safety driver on board.
