Discord Rolls Out Global Age Checks

Discord began a global age-check rollout on 22 September, sorting accounts into adult, teen (13 to 17) or unconfirmed groups. More than 90% of users are placed automatically using account signals, not message content. Teens get stricter defaults: non-friend messages go to a requests inbox, age-restricted servers are blocked and sensitive images blurred. Adults see no change.
