Anthropic pledges to watermark AI content in EU

Anthropic will watermark AI content in the EU under the AI Act. Models launched on or after 2 August will include machine-readable, C2PA-standard provenance metadata. Watermarks appear only via AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Foundry. Heavily edited or translated text may lose the watermark.
