Brazil gets EU-style App Store rules

Apple is bringing alternative app marketplaces and payment options to iPhone users in Brazil under an agreement with antitrust regulator CADE. Developers can distribute apps outside the App Store, subject to notarization and authorization. New commission rates range from 5% to 21%, with a 5% Core Technology Commission on external sales.
