High-Mileage EVs Beat Combustion Cars in UK MOT Study

A UK study of 47.4 million MOT tests found high-mileage EVs fail less often than combustion cars. EVs with 90,000-120,000 miles had a 16.5 percent failure rate versus 22.1 percent for ICE vehicles. The study, by New AutoMotive for the BVRLA, excluded battery health, a major caveat.
