UK Study: EVs Outlast Petrol Cars

A study of millions of UK MOT tests finds electric cars stay roadworthy longer than petrol cars, with the gap widening past 40,000 miles. At 120,000 miles, petrol cars are 7.5% more likely to fail (23.5% vs 16%). EVs show higher tire wear but fewer suspension and brake problems.
