Latvian forestry firm still recovering from ransomware

Latvian state-owned forestry company LVM is still restoring IT systems weeks after a ransomware attack. The attackers exploited a two-year-old unpatched vulnerability, leaked 44 GB of stolen data, and had been inside the network for over a week before detection. Two-thirds of customers still lack system access.
