Rivian sued over self-driving claims in early vehicles

A class action lawsuit alleges Rivian misled customers about the self-driving capabilities of first-generation R1T and R1S vehicles. The complaint states those models lack the hardware for Level 3 autonomy and cannot achieve it through software updates. Rivian declined to comment on the pending case.
