Microsoft patched the LegacyHive Windows zero-day, tracked as CVE-2026-62832, in August Patch Tuesday updates. Researcher Nightmare Eclipse disclosed the flaw after July Patch Tuesday, with a PoC requiring additional credentials. The vulnerability allows local attackers to gain administrator privileges via the Windows User Profile Service.
