Europe heat wave strains grid, IBM chip targets Moore's Law

Europe's record-breaking heat wave pushes the grid to its limits as cooling demand rises, while some power plants remain offline. IBM built a prototype chip with around 100 billion transistors on a fingernail-sized area, doubling the density of its 2021 technology.
