Geely takes over part of Ford Spain plant

Geely Auto agreed to take over an idle assembly line at Ford's Almussafes plant near Valencia, Spain. The facility runs at less than a quarter of its 450,000-vehicle annual capacity. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez will announce the deal on Thursday. Building locally helps Geely sidestep EU tariffs on China-made EVs.
