The FBI, Google, Lumen Technologies, and the Shadowserver Foundation disrupted NetNut, a residential proxy network secretly running a botnet of about 2 million Android TV devices. The botnet, also called Popa, was used for password-spraying and credential attacks. NetNut's website now displays an FBI takedown notice.
