ArcBest buys Tesla Semis after 1.55 kWh/mile pilot

ArcBest is purchasing two Tesla Semi trucks for its ABF Freight fleet after a 2025 pilot averaged 1.55 kWh per mile over 4,494 miles. That result is roughly 9% better than earlier Tesla Semi efficiency figures. The trucks will support linehaul operations in California and Nevada.
