Ford's $30,000 EV pickup nears public testing

Ford is building prototypes of a four-door midsize EV pickup due in 2027, with public road testing in Michigan starting soon. The truck will be the first on Ford's new UEV platform, using megcasting to cut parts from 146 to two. Ford promises more interior space than a Toyota RAV4 and lower ownership costs than a Tesla Model Y.
