Beats Studio Buds Firmware Update Patches Bluetooth Vulnerability

Apple released firmware 1B211 for Beats Studio Buds, patching a Bluetooth vulnerability that could let an attacker in range listen through the microphone. The bug affected unpaired buds seeking pair requests. Updating requires pairing with an iPhone, iPad, or Mac and keeping the buds on a charger in Bluetooth range.
