RAF Jams Hostile Satellites With Lasers

Britain's Royal Air Force has used ground-based jammers and lasers for about a year to disrupt hostile satellites during sensitive operations, including hiding nuclear-armed submarines. Defence Secretary Wes Streeting says GPS loss could cost the UK economy £1.4 billion daily, or £10 billion weekly. The RAF also created a Space Effects Squadron to defend British space assets.
