Ford is recalling 42,784 Mustang Mach-E electric crossovers from model years 2021 to 2023. The rear differential pinion shaft can fracture due to bending fatigue, causing loss of drive power or unintended movement. All affected vehicles have a rear-wheel drivetrain. Ford will contact owners starting July 13, 2026 for free inspections and repairs.
