Duffy Seeks $30 Billion for Air Traffic Control

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said Tuesday he will ask Congress for another $30 billion to modernize air traffic control, on top of $12.5 billion from Trump's June 2025 bill. The request follows a severed fiber-optic cable that forced a ground stop at five New York and Philadelphia international airports on Monday.
