Google to Report CSAM Directly to India

Google will report child sexual abuse material directly to Indian law enforcement, Reuters reports, instead of routing cases through the US-based National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Indian officials had pushed for faster local reporting. The change affects how platforms flag suspected child exploitation in India, where NCMEC currently forwards reports to authorities.
