Google Tests In-Space Compute Concept with TPUs

Google recently launched four of its custom Tensor processing units into orbit to test the viability of in-space computing. These TPUs orbit Earth aboard a solar-powered Planet Labs satellite, having been delivered via a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket on October 1st.
